I want to start off by saying that the colors you chose, ( purple and blue ) look amazing together on this wallpaper. It is pretty hard to find good wallpapers of space, stars, galaxies, etc... that don't look too busy, amateur, or otherwise cluttered as hell to the point where you can't tell what it is anymore. This one is damn near perfect, now let me tell you why. Ahem: To start, it has a main focal point. One place that your eye goes to rather than several things. This is very important. Mainly because the wallpaper isn't distracting. Second, the wallpaper is pleasing to the eye. It's beautifully put together, expertly finished. Next, the spiral shape of the galaxy is amazing, and also how the galaxy itself appears to glow makes it all the more wonderful to look at. It is a clearly exceptional wallpaper made by the best of artists.
